Autobahn by Kraftwerk was released on 1st November 1974. Thats an amazing 51 years ago. When Kraftwerk became the Kraftwerk we now know.
Kraftwerks first ?concept? LP. A classic. The title track was drastically edited and become a number 25 in the US Billboard charts. In Europe Autobahn reached even higher with it getting to number 11 in the UK. Commercial success had arrived for Kraftwerk.

The first Kraftwerk LP Kraftwerk was released in November 1970. Actual day not known.Kraftwerk is the first album by Kraftwerk. It was released in Germany in 1970, and produced by Konrad ?Conny? Plank. This did not appear in the UK until after their 2nd LP was released and only then as part of a 2 LP set that included their second album. Kraftwerk have not performed any of the tracks contained in this album since their 1975 tour and they appear to be reluctant to include it in their back-catalogue.
